Carlton Banks Says The Original Aunt Vivian Was Crazy
According to Janet Hubert’s memoir, ‘Perfection Is Not A Sitcom Mom,’ Will Smith was a egomaniac hellbent on destroying the career of anyone he thought of as a threat. However, Alfonso Ribeiro, who played her onscreen son, Carlton Banks, paints a different picture of the original mom on ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air.’ During a conversation he was having with students at the State University of New York, Oneonta this year he referred to her as not only being a difficult person to work with, but completely crazy.
To quote Alfonso, Janet was “cuckoo.”
It all makes sense, Janet was a raging bitch but easily dispensable because she wasn’t the star of the show. And years later she’s still mad, but trying to make a profit.
