Adam Sandler’s “Funny People” about a terminally ill comedy star took the top spot with a modest $23.4.

Last weekend’s box office champ, ‘G-Force’, slipped a spot to third with $17.1 million, as it lifted its total to $66.5 million. Meanwhile, ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ jumped up to second with $17.7 million.
