Beyonce, Lady Gaga Lead MTV 2009 Video Music Awards Nominees List
Here is the full list of 2009 MTV Video Music Awards winners and VMA nominations. The VMAs take place on Sunday, September 13, 2009 9 PM ET/PT on MTV.
Beyonce and Lady GaGa lead the VMA nominations field each receiving nine nods. Britney has seven. Receiving four nominations each: Kanye West, Eminem, and Coldplay.
Among the music artists who are confirmed to perform at the 2009 VMAs; Taylor Swift, Pink, Green Day, and Muse. Reportedly, Taylor Swift will perform You Belong With Me” and Muse will perform their new single “Uprising” from their forthcoming fifth studio album, “The Resistance” set for release on September 14.
The show is probably going to suck ass, the VMA’s haven’t been good for a decade now.
