Smallville’s Sam Jones Arrested in Big Time Drug Deal

Sam Jones who played the teenage best friend of a young Clark Kent on “Smallville” was arrested Wednesday morning in L.A. for conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 oxycodone pills in 2008.

According to the DEA, Sam used his “Hollywood connection” in a plot to illegally purchase and distribute the drug. He has been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. If convicted, Sam faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

Surprisingly, Smallville is still on and the current cast must be saying “THANK YOU” to the producers. The girl who plays Lana will probably be turning tricks in a few years.
