It’s safe to say Joss Stone and Lily Allen won’t be BFF anytime soon. During a recent interview, Joss probably started the newest celebrity feud when she shared her thoughts on the fellow Lily’s stance on file sharing. According to Joss; Lily is only campaigning to make file sharing a criminal offense because she’s not much of a singer and her sales are dependent on a pre-packaged image. Joss believes music should be shared freely whenever.
Via DigitalSpy:
“She needs to sell records because she’s not a singer, and that’s not an offence to her because I think that she knows that too,” she told The Mirror. “I think she’s a performer and she’s more of a personality than she is a singer. But I think when musicians are really making real music people come to the show and that’s what we make our money from, from playing live. I think it’s probably harder for an artist like Lily and any other pop acts. It’s really about the track and about their personality and their celebrity and that’s how they make their money is selling those records. So the downloads – she’s not going to win that fight. None of us will win that fight. So let’s just accept it and let’s see it as something that can be beautiful and it might change music for the better. It might sort the weeds from the flowers.”
I don’t care much for either one of them. Joss strikes me as a bit jealous that the less vocally talented Lily is commercially more successful than her. Lily’s rebuttal should be fun, she’s not one to hold back.

I don't think joss is jealous. She seems more down to earth than any other singers we've seen in a while. Shes not all about the glamour magazine perfect image life everyone is trying to follow. She is her own person. Everyone else is all about following whats new or whats hot. Quite frankly i think most of the people we see in the magazines are discusting. They cant be themselves and i feel bad for them. They worry more about what people are going to think if they wear the wrong thing or speak their minds.
