Oprah Winfrey to End Show in 2011

According to reports, Oprah Winfrey will announce on her show Friday that “The Oprah Winfrey Show” will come to an end on September 9, 2011. IF the show does indeed end in 2011 it will do so after 25 years on the air. The show is one of the most successful franchises in TV history and made Oprah one of the richest women in the world.
Oprah is said to be ending the show so that she can concentrate more her own cable channel, OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network), which will be a 50-50 partnership between her and the Maryland-based Discovery Communications. Having billions of dollars must be nice.
Somewhere, Tyra Banks is creaming in her jeans.
