Contrary to popular belief Lady Gaga isn’t a space alien from Mars. Here she is when she was known to students and staff at NYU as Stefani Germonatta with her natural dark hair. Say what you want about her crazy antics, but the girl is talented.

she is very talented…. if she came out originally like this as a singer i think she would have gone a lot farther and people would respect her a lot more. She has wonderful talent but if she would act as she does in this vid she would be much better. but kudos for making something of herself thru her crazy ways.
The only way you ever even watched this is because you know her as 'lady ga ga.' There is a lot of risk in shock value, but since it has paid off you must have equal respect to the level of risk.

Woww! i don't like her dressing-style and her make up and craziness but her songs makes me listen to her. i would love her much more if she could be this dark-hair-piano-NYU-girl. cause i cant see her talent with her present style
I love her sound. It's clear she opted to be a, "Rock Star", instead of an R& B entertainer. Hold on tight baby you know you're in for a wild ride completely unlike that of Nora Jones or Diana Krall.
I thought this was nice but she sounds so much like christina aguilera except christina has more vocal range.
