Rihanna: I Don’t Have Herpes
Almost immediately after news broke that Chris Brown “Iked” Rihanna, the internet was set ablaze with rumors he reacted badly (to say the least) to Rihanna telling him she had herpes. The rumor only got bigger when she was photographed with a cold sore on her lip, not to mention having the ever credible Tila Tequila blog raging that RiRi had the gift that keeps on giving.
In an interview with GQ, Rihanna addressed issue by denying she has the herp:
“It’s not true. It’s a fucking scar. On my lip. That’s there every day of my life… At first I was like, Are you serious? First I thought people were gonna definitely know that that’s not…But when I read it, and I see that people just buy into that…Like, the minute they see it, it forms something in their head.”
Who’s going to admit to having herpes to an internationally published magazine? Besides given that Chris was sleeping with anything with a pulse while he was dating her, I wouldn’t be surprised if he gave her something other than a black eye.
