Fantasia Barrino on Lockdown After Disturbing Hate Mail
After receiving a threatening letter filled with racial slurs, Fantasia Barrino has amped up her security.
Following her performance of “The Color Purple” last Friday night at the Pantages Theater in L.A. — Fantasia was reading her fan mail when she became alarmed over a disturbing letter that called her everything but a child of God. One line read, “go back where you came from and die.”
The person who wrote the letter claims that they were a former Fox security guard who worked during the period Fantasia was on “A.I.”
Theater security was contacted immediately and the LAPD has been informed about the situation. Security has been “beefed up” for Fantasia and throughout the venue. Anything sent to Fantasia’s dressing room will be screened before ever arriving there.
So big question is: She can read now?
