Nicki Minaj To Join Mariah Carey As American Idol Judge

Nicki Minaj will be joining Mariah Carey as a judge on American Idol if rumors are to be believed.

Although the news has yet to be officially confirmed, sources say Nicki is definitely on board.

According to a source for US Weekly, “I’m not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it. A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening.”

Also being considered for a judging spot? Nick Jonas and N.E.R.D rapper Pharrell Williams. Longtime judge Randy Jackson is said to be moving into a “mentoring” role on the show, which opens up for a male star to fill his vacant judging position.
